To access user documentation:
When you run the Intel PROSet/Wireless Installer program, it automatically upgrades from Intel PROSet/Wireless software version 9.x and any installed utilities to version 10.0.
When you run the Intel PROSet/Wireless Installer program, it automatically replaces Intel PROSet/Wireless software version 8.x and any installed utilities with version 10.0.
For the driver and software to function correctly on Windows 2000, the recommendation is to install Service Pack 4 or later.
For the driver and software to function correctly on Windows XP, the recommendation is to install Service Pack 1 or later.
Local administrative rights are required to access a machine certificate. Therefore, a restricted user is prevented from using profiles that use a machine certificate.
A user certificate can only be accessed by a user that has been authenticated on the computer. Therefore, a user should log onto the computer once (using either a wired connection, alternate profile or local log in) before using a pre-logon profile that authenticates with a user certificate.
A client disassociates upon moving to hibernation mode when the following conditions are met:
The recommendation is to set the system hibernate power option to “Never” when the computer is on AC power.
