Disks managed by this BMR server are used to store a copy of each client system’s (server, desktop, or notebook) boot disk.
If a client experiences a local drive failure, instead of waiting for the installation of a replacement hard drive, operating system, and applications, the client can access the stored image from this BMR server to rapidly boot their system over the IP network. This process occurs seamlessly, without requiring a floppy recovery disk.
For each BMR server, you can create user accounts, set properties for the server and clients, manage stored backup images, and run a status report.
