Replica Resources are Replica Disks that are being used by a remote server. The remote server has one or more SAN or NAS Resources that are being replicated to this server for disaster recovery purposes. Clients do not have access to Replica Disks. They have access to the SAN or NAS Resources that the Replica Disks are created from. If a disaster occurs and the Replica Disk is needed, the administrator must promote the Replica Disk so that Clients can access it.
